This Academy is located nearly 12 km away from the Kandy Town at Kundasale in an extent of 05 acres. It has a splendid view. It is made available for the public and private sector institutions for the purpose of conducting training sessions with hostel facilities too.
The academy was ceremonially declared open on 2nd June 2018.This academy is important as afully – equipped institute with physical, technical and intellectual resources to disseminate knowledge on creation of arts, new experiments and research, reference of local and foreign works of art, study and education of arts, creation of new performing arts productions and handicrafts.
One could carry out any arts work here for the sustenance of Sinhala arts and culture. Except for arts work, the physical resources present in this exquisite premises can be used for taking photographs in wedding ceremonies too by the local and foreign toursists.
